Meet Megan
Long before my career in PR, writing was my escape.
I grew up in a holler in eastern Kentucky, and while life was not always easy, I found a sense of self in words. Whether I was journaling my thoughts or creating fictional worlds of my own, writing gave me somewhere to process what I was experiencing, imagine something different and make sense of the world around me.
That curiosity eventually became a career.
Today, I'm a Strategic Communications Administrator in higher education and the founder of The Write Touch Studio, where I help businesses, nonprofits and community organizations communicate with clarity, credibility and a little personality.
My background spans journalism, public relations, strategic communications, media relations, content creation and reputation management. I've written everything from press releases and feature stories to institutional communications and crisis messaging.
But the thing I enjoy most is helping someone take something they're proud of and put it into words.
Because sometimes you know your story is worth telling—you just don't know how to tell it.
That's where I come in.
Why The Write Touch Studio
You shouldn't have to become a PR expert just to get the word out about the work you're doing.
Maybe your business is opening its doors. Maybe you've reached a milestone. Maybe you've received an award, launched something new or have a story your community needs to hear.
You know it's important. You just don't know what to say—or where to start.
That's where The Write Touch Studio comes in.
I take the information, ideas and accomplishments you already have and turn them into clear, compelling stories that are ready to share with the people who need to hear them. Whether that means a press release, media pitch, strategic communications plan or help navigating a reputation challenge, my goal is the same: make your message matter.
The Write Touch Studio was built with a simple belief: good stories deserve to be told well.
And you don't need a giant marketing budget or a full communications department to tell yours.
