ASHLAND, Ky. — The Aesthetic Haus will open its doors to the community on Saturday, Oct. 10, for its first-ever open house, inviting both longtime clients and those who have never visited the medical spa to experience its services, meet its growing team and explore its recently established Ashland location.
The Oct. 10 “Open Haus” will give guests an opportunity to meet The Aesthetic Haus’ team. The event will also feature live demonstrations of various services, giveaways throughout the day and special discounts on select services and products.
“This is our first open house that we’ve ever hosted,” said owner Emily VanBibber. “Being in our own location, we wanted to give everyone a chance to come in and see this space that we’ve created.”
The Aesthetic Haus is located at 1527 Central Avenue in Ashland.
New clients who attend will be entered into special giveaways, while current clients who bring a friend who is new to The Aesthetic Haus will have additional opportunities to enter giveaways.
“We hope to use our open house to reach new members who may not know about us,” VanBibber said.
For VanBibber, the event is about more than showcasing the business. It is also an opportunity to help people who may be unfamiliar with medical spa services feel comfortable exploring their options.
“I hope that people realize that aesthetic treatments don’t have to be intimidating or overwhelming,” VanBibber said. “I hope they get to know our staff and feel at ease when stepping into our building.”
The Aesthetic Haus has undergone significant growth since VanBibber founded the business in January 2023. What began as a solo injector operating out of a rented booth in the basement of a local hair salon has grown into a two-location business with VanBibber, six nurse injectors, an esthetician, massage therapist and permanent makeup artists.
VanBibber said she never anticipated the business would develop into what it is today.
“I joke that this all started as a fever dream,” she said.I was sick with a respiratory virus when I actually formed the LLC. But I started with this crazy idea and never dreamed that it could grow to where it is today.”
The business originally operated as Emily VanBibber Aesthetics before becoming The Aesthetic Haus. As the business grew and more providers became involved, VanBibber said the original name no longer reflected the work being done by the entire staff.
“It didn’t feel right to keep the name to myself whenever there was so much work from multiple people behind the scenes,” she said.
That team has continued to grow alongside the business. The Aesthetic Haus recently expanded its offerings beyond injectables by adding an esthetician, massage therapist and permanent makeup artists, creating a broader range of services under one roof.
“It can really be a ‘one stop shop’ for just about any facial or cosmetic need that you may have,” she said.
The business’ expansion has also extended geographically. In addition to its Ashland location, The Aesthetic Haus now has a second location on Main Street in Grayson, providing greater accessibility for clients in the area.
VanBibber said the Grayson expansion was a natural step after seeing how many clients were already traveling from Grayson to visit the Ashland location.
While the business has expanded considerably, VanBibber said its original focus on personal relationships and an approachable experience has remained at the heart of The Aesthetic Haus.
“I want to keep and maintain the personal relationships with our clients,” she said. “We want your experience with us to be personal and specific to your needs but also to feel like you’re at home visiting with a friend.”
That philosophy also extends to how the team approaches treatments. Rather than recommending services simply because they are available, VanBibber said the team prioritizes honest conversations and realistic expectations.
“We’re going to be honest with you and sometimes we’re going to tell you ‘no’ on some services that you thought you might need,” she said. “I feel that often ‘less is more’ and I feel like clients really respect that we’re upfront with them about realistic expectations and what outcomes are really going to look like.”
The Aesthetic Haus offers a variety of services, including neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, advanced skin care, facials, microneedling, laser hair removal, hair restoration, massage, permanent makeup, and IV hydration.
For those who may feel overwhelmed by the number of available aesthetic and wellness treatments, VanBibber said the goal is to help clients determine where to begin and develop a plan that fits their individual needs and goals.
“We have something to offer everyone,” she said. “And we’re here to help you get started, develop a plan that’s obtainable and a plan best fits your goals.”
As The Aesthetic Haus continues to grow, VanBibber said the support of its clients and the surrounding communities remains central to the business.
“It truly has meant the world to us that clients choose us and continue to show up for us day in and day out,” she said. “We know that we’re nothing without our clients and we try our best everyday to make each experience the best that we possibly can because of the community's support.”
